Ever hyped dubstep/glitch producer SKRILLEX is always good for a surprise it seems. Yesterday – out or the sudden and without announcing it before – he released a brand new EP entitled Leaving featuring three very diversified tracks. The producer on the new tunes: “‘Scary Bolly Dub’ is a song I’ve been playing in my sets for a while. I use it more as a DJ tool, but I wanted you guys to have it. ‘The Reason’ and ‘Leaving’ came together last minute. I made ‘Leaving’ in my hotel room in Mexico and just finished ‘The Reason’ an hour ago in my hotel room in Miami. I guess it’s just kind of a reflection of how I’m feeling right now.” Looks like SKRILLEX really dosen’t care about traditional release strategies. You can stream the whole EP below on YouTube – and especially the title-track and its almost BURIAL-esque atmosphere might surprise even the haters.
