A news every synthie-pop lover and die-hard “devotee” waited desperately for – DEPECHE MODE are back! The influential legends announced their thirteenth studio album. The yet untitled follow-up to 2009s Sounds Of The Universe is scheduled for next spring and fans can expect another selection of fine music from Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher. The band itself describes the work on the upcoming output as a very productive time with a lot of fun. The first revealed – also yet nameless – piece of music at a press conference in Paris already had a certain dark and somehow bluesy electronic groove. And as always, when DEPECHE MODE return with a new longplayer, the elder satesmen of synhie pop are hitting the road with an impressive stadium world tour. So be quick to get your tickets for this exciting event. We’re definitely ready to ‘reach out and touch faith’ once again. Have a look on the whole concert plan for next summer right here.
