DNKL

We’ve said it before and we say it again: DNKL‘s dark but somehow warm and soothing electronica is a real treat. After touring with HUNDREDS lately and successfully appearing on festival-stages, the Swedes will know finally release their first EP Wolfhour, arriving November 17th. Not only will it star the already known and promising tunes Battles and Hunt but also two new tracks. One of them being tonight’s Sound of The Night: Warm Dark Night comes with a good amount of Scandinavian dreaminess in the lyrics, contrasted by a ethereal, electronical skeleton. Needless to say that it still feels really good to hear IMMANU EL‘s singing voice Claes Strängberg acting in this a new but very fitting outfit.

Apart from the already published songs, the Wolfhour-EP will contain a title-track of the same name and quite prominent remixes by KEEP SHELLY IN ATHENS, SUN GLITTERS and SEEKAE on the b-side. All in all and judging by Warm Dark Night, DNKL seem to be on a very good way. So let’s drift along with them and fade out peacefully into the night.
