Almost one year after beloved Danish band EFTERKLANG played its final show in their well-known form the band returns in form of a new formation called LIIMA. The three members Mads, Casper and Rasmus teamed up with Finnish percussionist Tatu Rönkkö for that musical adventure. The four gentlemen are currently in Istanbul for a residency as they create new music that will premiere at two concerts at Salon Iksv this Friday and Saturday.
You can already stream two previous live shows of LIIMA below. And it might be best to listen to it for yourself to get a better understanding of their sound. it doesn’t sound like EFTERKLANG but you can spot a few familiar elements here and there. Witness it right here.
