New York based producer NICOLAS JAAR and his guitarist, DAVE HARRINGTON, have remixed the entire DAFT PUNK album Random Access Memories. And you should be ready to be caught unawares. ‘Cause the two – usually collaborating as DARKSIDE, for this project renamed to DAFTSIDE – didn’t just add some bass or something but revised the LP’s tracks basally.
For example the epic space rock final of the original, Contact, becomes the screaming drone prelude on DAFTSIDE‘s album which is appropriately entitled Random Access Memories Memories. If it will be released officially is unknown to date. Listen to it right here:
