One of Icelands most crafted singer/songwriter talents is finally back. SÓLEY is about to release her long awaited new EP Krómantik these days (via Morr Music) and NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is happy to bring you the official premiere of the music video for its title track today. Krómantik follows the critically acclaimed debut We Sink from 2011 and sees Mrs. Stefánsdóttir unfolding reduced magic basically just via her voice and piano. Bittersweet songs that spread a great amount of solace through their melancholic undertone.
And the title-track makes no exception. Director Bruno Granato created minimalistic images to the tender ballad which help shaping an almost intimate atmosphere around SÓLEY. Just the artist, her piano and the music. Let all these elements speak for themselves as we watch this lovely little clip.
