It was one of the most buzzed music videos of 2012 – Inspector Norse by Norwegian disco producer TODD TERJE. It even made it on the list of NOHING BUT HOPE AND PASSIONS favourite clips of the year. Despite the fact that the clip and its strange protagonist were quite funny to watch, it is based on a real life person – “Inspector Norse” is the internet alias of Marius Solem Johansen, a failed musician living in a small town in Norway, producing dance videos and drug recipes for YouTube. Director Kristoffer Borgli explored that weird internet phenomenon and took a closer look on the man behind the character. The result is a slightly bizarre, but also funny and touching documentary about a man living in his own little world. The 15-minute long movie already won the special jury award at AFI Fest 2012 and is now available to watch in full length. Feel invited to discover the world of the inspector right here.
