According to media reports it looks like the upcoming Berlin Festival is about to change its location this year. German newspaper Tagesspiegel announced that the administrators of the site confirmed that the beloved event will not happen this year at the former airport. There is still no official confirmation from the organisers of the event. Rumours for the move range from financial problems to noise control.
According to the article the Berlin Festival will take place at the Arena in Berlin this year. The venue already hosted parts of the event in previous years. It is still unclear what this means for the future of the event. It might just get a bit cozier this year as we enjoy acts like MODERAT, EDITORS or CRYSTAL FIGHTERS in a smaller venue.
