You can’t deny the specific musical magic Iceland offers us for years now. Is it the landscape? The specific culture or the people who are making the music there? Probably a bit of all – and you can be sure that Born To Be Free, the sophomore longplayer by Björn Kristjánsson aka BORKO might include a lot from these elements. The musician – who’s also drummer at FM BELFAST – presents a record that also includes musical contribution by his fellow countrymen SIN FANG, SÓLEY or Eiríkur Orri Ólafsson who previously also worked with SIGUR RÓS.
