Cherilyn MacNeil’s indie pop project DEAR READER unveils a wonderful video to the first single of its forthcoming album Rivonia. Telling a sad story from the hard lives of african miners the clip to Down Under, Mining is created in the form of a puppeteer theatre made of paper cut-outs, produced by Barbara Steinitz and Philine Sollmann.

After her joint release with GET WELL SOON and her previous longplayer Idealistic Animals (with a guest appearance of CALEXICO‘s Martin Wenk) Rivonia will be the third album of DEAR READER, out April the 8th via City Slang.
