We officially reached temperatures below zZero in Berlin yesterday and it appears that winter is now in its full frosty bloom. But who are we to complain, compared to the climate the Scandinavian countries have to experience every season? Norwegian electronic two-piece APOTHEK knows a thing or two about this and was so kind enough to prepare an exclusive NBHAP Guestmix, wisely titled ‘-15°C Music’.

Ahead of their performance at the Ja Ja Ja Club Nights on November 23 and 24 in Hamburg and Berlin Nils Martin Larsen and Morten Myklebust compiled one hour of mellow tunes that showcase a variety of electronic sounds and multiple ideas that shall warm your heart in those frosty times. Here’s what APOTHEK have to say about their selection.

‘As winter creeps up on the scandinavian countries we all know we’re in for a long period of temperatures that doesn’t really lend itself to being outside more than you really have to. This playlist is themed around the first snow falling in Oslo – realizing that you won’t really enjoy being outside for a while.

I always end up listening to really detailed pieces of music this time of year where I can sit in my studio and really nerd out.’

The band’s self-titled debut album was released back in September via Propeller Recordings.
