We might have used this metaphor before but listening to the music of BIG DEAL always feels a bit like enjoying love in the summer time. And with every release this feeling goes on and on. 2011’s debut Lights Out felt like the intimate dialog between two teenage lovers on a lazy summer day while last year’s June Gloom introduced an intense rhythm section to the sound of BIG DEAL. Still the sound remains gentle and expanded just in the right amount.
NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is quite happy to welcome the dynamic duo Kacey Underwood and Alice Costelloe back in the summer of 2014 as we give you the stream of their upcoming EP Sakura (Out on July 14 via Mute Records). On it the duo presents four new sweet songs. From the easy rocking single Always Boys to the reworked version of Talk (off the band’s debut album) – the love just continues.
