There are rarely any better choices for a sweet electronic lullaby than acclaimed British composer JON HOPKINS. Seriously. Especially now as he just announced his new EP Asleep Versions. As NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION reported earlier the upcoming release will feature four ambient reworks of songs from last year’s acclaimed studio album Immunity. The EP arrives on November the 10th via Domino Records.
Today Mr. HOPKINS unfolds a beautiful new version of Form By Firelight. Reorded at Sundlaugin Studio in Mosfellsbær, Iceland last February the track features vocals by BRAIDS‘ very own Raphaelle Standell. The result is just too sweet – so, without further ado: enjoy it right here.
