Norwegian electropop artist SANDRA KOLSTAD on tour in the north of Norway. But not that kind of tour you might think of now. Sandra is also travelling and NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION presents her travel & tour diary.
It’s really extreme in the north of Norway. Dark almost the whole day and extremely beautiful. It’s north of the northernest tip of Sweden even. Quite the right place to breathe in a lot of energy. Energy SANDRA KOLSTAD will need in the next months, because her new album, (Nothing Lasts) Forever, will be out in March. After that she will be on tour in Germany. Not tour Germany like she tours Norway now, she’ll tour Germany.
This is day 1 of her Norwegian Tour experience:
When we arrived in Kristiansand, the first day of our tour, we were welcomed by this: A hand drawn chalk piece of my logo. A beauty!
The minute we realize the talent of the girl who made the amazing chalk logo – Silje – we asked her to use her skills also on the body of my drummer, Kyrre. She said yes, and made yet another beauty backstage in Kristiansand.
When we arrived in Haugesund, we met Solo, a very helpful taxi driver, who told us he was a percussionist. We asked him to join us on stage for a couple of songs, so he did, and he turned out to be extremely talented! Solo will join us for our upcoming shows in Bergen and Stavanger too. Thank you, Solo!!
Haugesund is one of my favourite cities, situated on the west coast of Norway, packed with small white wooden houses. I wrote my second album (Nothing Lasts) Forever just outside of Haugesund last year, and returning to the city performing the music live was quite special.
