Once again – here comes new and interesting music from one of NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION‘s favourite European capitals, Copenhagen. This time it’s the new single by danish newcomers BETTING ON THE MOUSE. The four-piece is about to release its first self-titled full-length longplayer on March the 15th via German indie label Questions And Answers. Quite fitting since most parts of the record were recorded in Berlin anyway.
BETTING ON THE MOUSE, originally formed in 2009, describe their tender music as intense and modern alternative pop with an organic instrumentation and much love to electronic details. One Lover, the first single from the upcoming release already proves this ambition. A fragile melody and the beautiful vocal work from singer Martha Marie Skou lead the way. NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is quite happy to bring you the exclusive video premiere of the new clip. Its joyful images were recorded in the streets of Copenhagen and in the warm company of close friends as everybody celebrated the 30th birthday of Skou. Watch the result right here.
