Grouper premieres previously unreleased song “Vital”

Recently we informed you about a new release by Portland based drone/folk artist Liz Harris aka GROUPER. A new album named The Man Who Died In The Boat is set to be released via Kranky on the 4th of February 2013. It features not new recorded material but previously unreleased material that was produced around the same time as Harris’ criticly acclaimed album Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill in 2008. With her fragile and siren-linke voice, her pure acoustic guitar and the wide space of her voice GROUPER clearly creates a unique atmosphere.
