We can’t deny that we’ve fallen in love with the recent output by British shoegaze newcomers MAN WITHOUT COUNTRY. Their debut longplayer Foe gave us a lot of goosebumps and included some beautiful and epic pop songs that are just meant to get heard by a big number of people. For a while now the duo tends to perform a cover version of the BJÖRK classic All Is Full Of Love during their live shows – for example when they recently supported M83 on their tour. You remember the beautiful ballad by the Icelandic queen of mysterious sounds? Or at least the infamous video clip with the love-making robots back in 1997? MAN WITHOUT COUNTRY manage to keep the intense atmosphere of the original and rebuild it with their own sounds and methods. And the best thing about it – a studio version of this song is finally available for stream and download. What a pleasure in many ways.
