We know there have been many beautiful and talented female electropop singers from Scandinavia in the past years. May it be big players like FEVER RAY and ROBYN or the new ones who are not that famous yet, like SANDRA KOLSTAD – and KARIN PARK who was born in Djura, a small town somewhere in the dark woods of Dalarna, Sweden. Well, and this might explain a bit her preferences for a dark and weird atmosphere inside her – often quite catchy – electropop. Her latest album Highwire Poetry manages to bridge these extremes – deep basses, amazing melodies, stunning sound and a voice that clearly stands out.
