It was – without any doubt – the biggest news that shook the music blogosphere yesterday. THE POSTAL SERVICE are back and as NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION reported yesterday, they will re-release their criticly acclaimed 2003 debut Give Up to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Sub Pop, the label of the side project by DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE frontman BENJAMIN GIBBARD and electronic producer Jimmy Tamborello now gives us some details on the upcoming reissue. The new package contains two discs and will be released on April the 8th with the second disc featuring a lot of bonus material. Remixes, covers and bonus tracks can be found here – but also Turn Around and A Tattered Line Of String, two brand news songs from THE POSTAL SERVICE. So good for everyone it seems. The duo is also confirmed for this year’s installment of Coachella Festival with more dates to follow soon.
