Canadian pop group YOUNG GALAXY have complete the work on their fourth full-length album Ultramarine and plan the release for April the 23rd. Recorded with electronic producer Dan Lissvek in Sweden the five piece promises ten new tracks that are more consequent than before. Singer Catherine McCandless on the new material: “In being away from home we felt like we could risk more, take bigger chances. Things we didn’t think would work, we tried anyway.” But although the new YOUNG GALAXY output might be more pop than before, McCandless also points out the importance of their dark undertone: “If a song is too sweet, it’s not right”. The album’s first single Pretty Boy is already a tiny little hit which you can stream right here.
