Last years glorious comeback of Canada’s finest indie punk heroes DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 has been just the start. Good to see that Sebastian Grainger and Jesse F. Keeler seem to be in a more healthy place as a band right now than they were back in the days of their debut You’re Woman, I’m A Machine. With The Physical World they have quite a bunch of new songs to celebrate live and as we reported earlier, there are also plans for a documentary about the duo’s history as a band. You may also want to check out the extended chat we had with Jesse F. Keeler on various topics.

More important than knowing that these guys hopefully will get along for a while longer this time is though, that we get to see them live on stage. Where they belong and where their grooving, fun, hypernervous but cool as ice-punk probably translates best. We are glad and proud to be able to present to you DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979‘s upcoming tourdates in Germany. And as we at Nothing But Hope And Passion are basically good guys who know a thing or two about being broke, we give away 1×2 tickets for each of the following three dates. Just send us a mail at win@nbhap.com with your full name, your preferred city and the subject ‘DFA1979’. And with a little bit of luck we’ll pour some sweat, tears and love into your life.
