Youthkills_GuestmixSome things just take time – especially when you have a certain result in the back of your head that you want to achieve with all consequence. James and Andy Taylor were pretty patient with their band YOUTHKILLS. They worked for almost seven years on their concept and vision, took different turns and waited patiently until their time was right. And now, at the beginning of 2013 the time is right. Or better said The Time is now – like the title of their epic first single is.

Both have recorded with several different producers and musicians over the years, worked on their very own mixture of big rock anthems, with a certain synthetic wave flavour and a undeniable passion for a solid pop fundament. Their first single is about the perfect moment to start what you’re passionate about – this is what also seems to define YOUTHKILLS and it’s a credo we at NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION really embrace. With an ambitious debut longplayer in its final working stages, it looks like the upcoming months might belong two these two Brtitish gentleman.

No surprise that Andy and James got a wide range of influences and we’re pretty happy to have them shared with us in the form of an exclusive guestmix for NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION. Of course, we got big 80s wave heroes like DEPECHE MODE or THE CURE in this, but there is also room for fresh rock newcomers like PALMA VIOLETS or BLACKEYE.
