British psychedelic rock legends PRIMAL SCREAM return with a new record and a new video clip that’s really a blast. The tenth studio album by the band around Bobby Gillespie – and the first in five years – is called More Light and will hit stores on May the 6th. Gillespie on the new longplayer: “It’s kind of guitar-driven but we use guitars in an orchestral way, not in the normal way people make rock records. I think we do it in a more interesting way. We weave the guitars in with electronics and other acoustic instruments to make the core sound.”
The first single from More Light goes by the name 2013 and it’s an epic nine-minute long tune on the album – and a bit shorter in the creepy new music video. Also featured on the track is MY BLOODY VALENTINE‘s Kevin Shields on guitar. Check out the stunning result right now.
