The Swedish solo project of Victoria Bergsman, TAKEN BY TREES, is completing its third album, Other Worlds, which will be out October 2 via Secretly Canadian. The new LP was inspired by a trip to Hawaii, and the latest single Large from the upcoming release is a wonderful foretaste of this anticipated exotic experience. The song is an enchanting piece of tropical pop, brought to perfection by the sounds of actual birds in the background. Bergman’s longingly singing and the sound of glittering synths create a soundtrack meant for endless moments of dreaming reality away and submerging into a fantasy world – other imaginary worlds for each of us. “Are you with me or not?” she asks.
