It’s been a while since we heard anything new from chillwave mastermind Ernest Greene and his project WASHED OUT. The last thing was his fancy clip for A Dedication back in August and we can only assume that he is currently working on new material. Now he at least shares a new piece with us, one he created in cooperation with Philips and our colleques from Consequence Of Sound. Greene has been commissioned to create an autobiographical exploration of his music influences which he describes as mainly being “wind chimes, field recordings of the wilderness or children playing outside.” The result of this experiment is a new WASHED OUT track named The Sound Of Creation which is truly beautiful and can be streamed below.
