MENISCUS describe huge landscapes with few words and great progressive intensity. Formed as a trio in 2005, these Australians give good dynamics with a heavy base like usual for postmetal. Melancholic and very technical their music embraces a lot of landscapes and finally you can feel it in your mind, too. After some years and several band member changes, they definitively formed in 2009 with Daniel Oreskovic on guitars/loops, Alison Kerjean on bass, Cameron Brennan on drums and Marty Wong on visual live-mix. They work hard to make a good live show. In July they will tour through Europe and you shouldn’t miss them.

MENISCUS re-released their debut-album Absence of I with an additional track. You can listen to the entire album here. As said, they will be on European tour to open soon. Also check out their 2011 release War of Currents. Good music, with lot of passion and hope.
