The five-piece from Berlin teases their new Moses Schneider-produced album with an uplifting piece of music we’re happy to debut right now.

Over the past years Berlin-based songwriter Moritz Lieberkühn slowly shaped and sharped his former solo project 1000 GRAM into a full band line-up. Now, the vital five-piece returns with their first new material in a while. And indeed, Daydream became a perfect indie rock summer romance. Fuzzy guitars and an overall driving vibe dominate the uplifting tune which is a first teaser from the group’s new album which will pretty surely arrive later this year.

We’re happy to bring you the world premiere of Daydream, a track that should be proof enough for indie rock’s unstoppable ability to change and remain relevant after all. And it’s also a tune that plays an important part in the band’s recent musical endeavours as Lieberkühn explains:

‘Daydream was the first song we recorded during the session. Turned out to be a very good choice, because it only took some two to three takes until we nailed it – and after this the rest of album basically recorded itself.

It’s the perfect material for these hot summer days and you are happily invited to start your own sun-drenched Daydream with the help of 1000 GRAM right now.
