Swedish artist Louise Lemón has been on our radar for quite a bit now, thanks to such haunting and impressive singles like Egyptian Darkness. Today NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is happy to unleash another stunning piece by the talented young lady in the form of Malex.
For her new single Mrs. Lemón once again teamed up with legendary producer Randall Dunn (Sunn O))), Thurston Moore) who gives her Nordic Pop that really tempting edgy note. Here’s how the artist describes her tune:
‘I wrote Malex while moving. I was leaving not only the city I was living in, but all the past that comes with staying in one place for a long time. It’s a song about moving on, mentally aswell as physically. And I love to sing that song, it’s without effort, just like letting go is, when you really do.’
Malex will be part of a new three-track long EP by the same title which arrives on October 13 via Icons Creating Evil Art.
