Following a four year long absence we’re happy to be finally back in Barcelona, reporting from Europe’s best festivals with the most impressive line-up, including pretty much all of your favourite bands. But even if you won’t be making it to the festival in person the Primavera Sound will bring you some of 2018’s finest performances directly into your living room.

It’s Primavera Sound time of the year and, at this point, we are eagerly counting down the hours till the kick-off. The finest springtime festival officially starts on Wednesday, May 30th, and runs until Sunday, June 3rd, at Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona. This year the festival boasts a seemingly endless and wildly diverse line-up of artists playing day-time shows and after-hours parties, as well as an extensive program of workshops, lectures, and film screenings.

We will try to attend a repertoire as broadly inclusive as the festival offers and mix it all up with Belle & Sebastian, Spiritualized, Björk, Fever Ray, Floating Points, Jlin, Kelela, Warpaint, Breeders, The Internet, John Maus, Arca, Panda Bear, Sevdaliza, Shellac, Ty Segall and his Freedom Band, Tyler the Creator, ABRA, Ariel Pink, Beach House, Deerhunter, Grizzly Bear, Jon Hopkins, Oneohtrix Point Never, Slowdive, Yves Tumor … and many, many more. Meanwhile, The Warehouse indoor club will probably be the highlight of the complemetary programme and serve the most ambitious among us with late-night showcases od electronic music labels Mosaic, Giegling, and Warp, as well as two of the few worldwide performances by Sigur Rós‘ new ambient project Liminal.

For those who missed some of the shows or want to relive the experience, Primavera will run an exclusive ‘almost’ live stream of six acts each day (‘almost’ because it’s with one day of delay). Wednesday shows will be streamed on Thursday, Thursday shows on Friday, and the same will go on each following day from 6 pm to midnight.  The line-up of those streams will be announced every day and you will find the broadcasting schedule right here on NBHAP. So, make sure to take a closer look at the clip below and enjoy the show(s).

The #RelivePrimavera podcast starts on May 31 as you can watch thrilling performances from the first night by Belle & Sebastian, Wolf Parade, Yung Beef and Javiera Mena. On June 1st you’ll be abled to rewatch performances by Hinds, CHVRCHES, Vagabon, Sparks and Warpaint. Highlights from June 3 include Lykke Li, Grizzly Bear and the almighty Lorde. The schedules for each day will be announced quickly on the following day via Primavera’s Facebook and right here.

And on top of it, as metioned before, we’ll be ‘on he ground’ to report directly from Primavera Sound 2018 – as always follow us on Instagram for real-time updates and photos from our favorite shows.
