Next week will begin the CMJ Homepage”>CMJ Music Marathon 2013. During five days New York City will be the playground for bands and music-lovers.
Since 1981 CMJ has been giving the opportunity to young bands to play for professionals and curious audiences in the Big Apple. Hundreds of musicians are sharing the bill in more than 80 venues and nightclubs. In early 2000’s they highlighted ARCADE FIRE, SIGUR RÓS, THE NATIONAL, THE SHINS which were then-unknown.
Who are we going to discover this year? NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION will be there and we are already excited for a few shows like DOULOGUE, MISUN, FATHER JOHN MISTY, CAVEMAN amongst other. But we are sure to come back with great music to share with you all.
