Though it’s mostly daylight we see following Damon McMahon through the city, it’s still us watching the dark. AMEN DUNES video to their song Lonely Richard shows traces of urban perception. People on the streets, cars, concrete, nature and sky-lines or thousands of lights, all behind a filter of warm and worn out blurriness.
They document an environment most people would experience as fast-paced, fragmented or even disconnecting. But Lonely Richard slows it all down and sheds a poetic light all over New York City’s little psychedelic wonders. Watch and listen right here, please:
