Bat For Lashes stars as desperate bride in new ‘In God’s House’ video

One week ago, Natasha Khan aka BAT FOR LASHES announced her new album The Bride which tells the story of a desperate woman whose fiancé has been killed in a car crash on the way to the church for their wedding. The album was ‘written as the soundtrack for a feature length film in mind’ as the press release states.

The music video for the lead single In God’s House was directed by Khan and John De Menil and features the artist as the desperate bride who witnesses the grave of her former love in the middle of the desert. It’s a clip full of desperation and intense images as you can imagine. The follow-up album to 2012’s The Haunted Man arrives on July the 1st. Watch the video right here.
