BBC Music releases epic ‘God Only Knows’ cover w/ Pharrell, Lorde, Chris Martin, Dave Grohl

We can probably all agree on the fact that the BEACH BOYS’ God Only Knows is one of the prettiest pop songs in the history of music. Britain’s very own BBC thought the same and collected some of contemporary’s and history’s most important musicians for an epic cover version to launch their forthcoming conglomerate ‘BBC Music.’

The all-star band is let by the one and only Brian Wilson himself and does include artists like COLDPLAY‘S Chris Martin, LORDE, PHARRELL (minus hat), Dave Grohl, Florence Welch, SAM SMITH, Elton John and Stevie Wonder. There’s even room for ONE DIRECTION, just to get it as diversified as possible. The BBC describes its new instalment as ‘an ambitious wave of new programmes, innovative partnerships and ground-breaking music initiatives that amount to the BBC’s strongest commitment to music in 30 years.’
