As you might know NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION is always up for gentle acoustic singer/songwriter material. This goes especially if the mentioned artist is as talented as Swedish performer CAJSA SIIK and the music is as wonderful as her song Birds. The track is taken off the artist’s just released second studio album Contra which was recorded with the help of TIGER LOU producers Rolf Klinth and Calle Ekerstam.
Recorded and filmed live at the Matching Head Studios in Stockholm, Birds is a bittersweet ballad of hope and despair. ‘Birds don’t fly this high’ sings Mrs. SIIK in the chorus of the song and we’re close to believe her.
