Conor Oberst shares new track ‘Governor’s Ball’

The Bright Eyes mastermind presents a second track off his upcoming LP ‘Upside Down Mountain.’

CONOR OBERST released another new song from his upcoming solo record Upside Down Mountain. The track is called Governor’s Ball and proves that OBERST still is an excellent songwriter. Previously the BRIGHT EYES mastermind already shared the song Hundreds Of Ways off the album.

Upside Down Mountain will be released on May 20 via Nonesuch Records, the artwork on the cover is a painting called The Creation of the Bulls by Ian Felice.

Governor’s Ball features FIRST AID KIT on guest vocals. OBERST collaborated with the two Swedish sisters in 2012, contributing vocals for their song King Of The World. Listen to the piece below.
