Damon Albarn announces Everyday Robots LP, shares first video

After already hinting it last year, busy musician DAMON ALBARN now shared details on his long awaited solo debut. Yes, althugh he’s been quite active with his bands GORILLAZ and BLUR and various other projects this marks his first album featuring original solo material. Everyday Robots is the name of the record which is set for a release on April the 28.

If features 12 tracks, was produced by XL Recording’s boss Richard Russell and also features appearances by BAT FOR LASHES‘ Natasha Khan and Brian Eno. According to the press release it is “his most soul-searching and autobiographical yet, explores nature versus technology.” Already today you can enjoy an animated music video for the title track from the new DAMON ALBARN record.
