Last year’s self-titled debut album by London-based four-piece DESPERATE JOURNALIST was one of NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION‘s almost overlooked masterpieces of 2015 and since the band is about to start a short European Tour next week we thought it might be fitting to remind you of their existence.
We already praised songs like Hesitate and Perfect Health and can highly recommend the album and its follow-up EP Good Luck (released last October) for all fans of energetic post-punk infected rock in the style of, SAVAGES, SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES and 2:54. Singer Jo Bevan is destined to blow the audience away and we always enjoy the rawness of such a charismatic leading lady.
