In October 2012 EFTERKLANG teamed up with Danish classical orchestra Copenhagen Phil and German conductor André de Ridder to perform their latest album Piramidalive at Copenhagen’s Royal Academy of Music Concert Hall. And as if that were not magnificent enough, with multi-instrumentalist PETER BRODERICK, classical singer KATINKA FOGH VINDELEV and SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES’ BUDGIE this very special event included three further renowned musicians. The live album also features So, a song written during recording sessions for Piramida, and Vælv, a classical piece commissioned by EFTERKLANGand composed by Karsten Fundal.
EFTERKLANG, who recently pleased us with imaginative video clips like The Ghost, will also perform at this year’s IMMERGUT FESTIVAL which is presented by NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION and will take place in two weeks in the north of Berlin.
