Henry Green - Slow EP

HENRY GREEN is an English teenager who’s already put out a well-received track called Barcelona, had a track remixed by KYGO and supported LONDON GRAMMAR, which is a hell of a lot more than most teenagers have achieved. Now he’s back again with the title track of his new EP, Slow.

Slow is a sparse, fragile slow-jam, a song as delicate as it is pretty. With a whispered refrain of “we can move so, we can move so slow”, it occupies a similar emotional space to THE XX, loaded with a sense of hesitant nervous tension. Every musical step, every little synth splash and pulse, seems to have been chosen with an immense amount of caution and thought, to carefully guide the song along without damaging its thin-glass structure. Slow is a piece of immaculately constructed, emotionally vulnerable moody electronica. HENRY GREEN’s Slow EP is out on June 1st on Akira Records.
