Interpol announce new album ‘El Pintor’

New York post-punk trio INTERPOL officially announced their new album. El Pintor is the name of the group’s fifth longplayer which follows their most recent self-titled album from 2010. The record will be released on September the 9th and will be the first one after the departure of bassist Carlos Dengler.

The album was recorded in New York during 2013 in the Electric Lady Studios & Atomic Sound by Mr James Brown. Previously the band already previewed new material of El Pintor during a couple of live shows. Today INTERPOL also share an album trailer which features impressions from the recording sessions.
