Dutch multi-instrumentalist JACCO GARDNER wins an European Border Breaker Award (EBBA). Each year the EBBA awards honor artists who got outside of their own country. The young guy who is known for his neo-psych, baroque pop, chamber pop music is happy with the award and surprised to get honored by the people who give away the award. He further tells that he was never really thinking about his home country the Netherlands. He always was thinking about other countries and didn’t expect much feedback from the Netherlands. So he is even more surprised that his music is that successful there, too.
