Mattioli got the idea on a train when she was listening to music and a deaf girl approached her and gave her to understand that she could feel the music by Mattioli’s movement.
On the basis of that the artist filmed herself dancing with 13 members of the Manchester Deaf Centre. They might not be able to hear the music but they could respond to her movement and the vibrations of JAMIE XX‘ song. Watch the astonishing video below.
