Not only rap fans got their expectations up for a potential fourth full-length by KENDRICK LAMAR. America’s quite possibly most profound voice right now has now officially started teasing the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2015 LP To Pimp A Butterfly and last year’s demo compilation untitled unmastered. The rapper cleared his enitre Instagram expect for one photo, stating ‘IV’ which was first thought to mark a potential teaser to the new album.

As it later turned out it’s not an entire album but a brand new politically charged new track called The Heart Part 4. It features KENDRICK dropping such a distinctive line like ‘Donald Trump is a chump, know how we feel punk/ Tell em that God comin’, and Russia need a replay button, y’all up to something.’ In the track he furthermore mentions April the 7th as an important date to ‘get your shit together’. Could that be a potential album release date? In a recent interview with The New York Times he already stated that the new album would be ‘very urgent’ and with first festival dates already announced, including a headline slot at Coachella soon, we wouldn’t be surprised about a release very soon.

Now, another new song arrives in the form of HUMBLE. Directed by Dave Meyers and the Little Homies the music video shows the rapper in various religious settings, including a pope costume and attending the Last Supper together with his buddies. It’s quite epic and now we’re pretty sure that next week could see something quite impressive.
