BON IVER live at the Michelberger Hotel back in October 2016
Last autumn Berlins’s Michelberger Hotel teamed up with the Dessner brothers from THE NATIONAL and BON IVER‘s Justin Vernon to host a unique event at the old Funkhaus, gathering countless musicians and friends together, having them work together for the week and perform the result infront of a surprised audience. Back then NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION did an extended backstage report on the rehearsals which you can still read right here. The line-up furthermore included artists like DAMIEN RICE, NILS FRAHM, ERLEND ØYE, BOYS NOIZE, WOODKID, POLIÇA singer Channy Leaneagh and plenty of others.
Now the organizers of Michelberger Music released an epic documentation about the event right here on their homepage, including tons of photos, videos, a radio broadcast and a digital newspaper that recapped the entire event. There’s a lot to discover, to say the least and as they are eager to make sure one more time, this was all about the music and the joyful videos which feature a variety of different performances clearly show that.
