It’s hard to make a track live up to its title. Yet in the serene stillness of Cold Wind, MONTA did just that. Having a BEIRUT inspired sweetness with a undeniably JOSÉ GONZALEZ vocal, it’s a folk masterpiece. The lyrics sing like literature ‘when all was gone/ she took care of his heart’, and at 4.53 the narrative has time to unfurl. This track is a perfect taster for what’s to come in Chosen One. It’s an understated exciting track and Chosen One is bound to be a career defining EP for this German artist.
