Indie rock institution NADA SURF have shared the music video for Cold To See Clear, the opening song off their forthcoming LP You Know Who You Are. The song follows the previously unleashed Believe You’re Mine as a second teaser from the band’s first album in four years. Directed by Spencer Gentz the clip follows an office worker who decides to turn his boring business into a fancy rock performance. NADA SURF singer Matthew Caws explains the idea to Wall Street Journal:

‘The song is about moments of clarity and light and hope and positivity that sprout up to our surprise even during periods where our lives feel a little like foggy drudgery, like numbing repetition. The specific image of the title is that shocking but also euphoric feeling of awakening you can get in winter when you open the window to see what the air feels like outside, maybe to look at the snow or decide how many layers you should wear. That awakening gives me instant peace at some animal level. It can also bring instant perspective.’

You Know Who You Are arrives on March 4, 2016 and you can watch the new Cold To See Clear clip right here.
