Placebo premiere strange video for ‘Loud Like Love’

PLACEBO just premiered a video for the single Loud Like Love. The 8-minute clip is structured like the previous video for Too Many Friends, again featuring American Psycho-author Bret Easton Ellis whose voice is heard offstage. He comments on the things happening at the pool party that is the scene of the strange event and points out to details the viewer might not have recognized.

At the end of the film Ellis asks What happened?, proposes various explanations and asks the viewer to choose one.

The band itself is almost not seen in the video. Watch the weird clip below, maybe you’ll find out what it’s about.
