Poliça team up with Boys Noize and Spank Rock for special double single

‘Lipstick Stains/ Still Counts’ gets a special Record Store Day release but is already up for stream today.

Every year Record Store Day is a fitting time to surprise fans with new music and unusual releases. Acclaimed electronic formation POLIÇA, for example, returns with first music since last year’s United Crushers album and surprising feature guests. The forthcoming double single Lipstick Stains/ Still Counts sees Channy Leaneagh and her gang teaming up with Berlin-based techno label Boysnoize Records. SPANK ROCK is featured on the acid-rocking Still Counts while label boss BOYS NOIZE gave the other track a delicate and pumping undertone.

It’s not the first time Leaneagh collaborated with the German producer as she was also featured on his 2016 single Starchild. The single is out now digitally but you can, of course, also grab a limited 7” single on RSD, April 22.
