If you happen to be a longtime fan of songwriter Fin Greenall and his alter ego FINK you should be aware of the fact that this lovely gentleman just released a new, slightly different album. Fink’s Sunday Night Blues Club, Vol. 1 is out now via R’Coup’D / Ninja Tune and it’s a record that shows Greenall’s love for old-fashioned blues compositions. He educated himself in the magic of John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry and Co. recorded the music in a very raw and reduced way (with the help of legendary U2/ DEPECHE MODE producer Flood) and that’s basically all you need to deliver an authentic blues album.
