It’s Friday, the weekend is almost there waiting for you with all its good aspects, so it’s time to get a bit psychedelic and let the colours do the talking. The band of the hour to celebrate with us comes from Berlin (although its quite international with members from New Zealand and Greece) and goes by the name SUN AND THE WOLF. The fuzz guitar-infected Precipice marks the first teaser off the group’s third album which arrives in 2017, following last year’s Salutations.
The sound varies a bit between early TAME IMPALA and JOHN CARPENTER-like synthesizer spookiness but especially this new tune got a really fancy groove that is kind of hard to ignore we think. The colourful and odd video for Precipice was directed and edited by Laura Cherrygrove and arrives as a world premiere today via NOTHING BUT HOPE AND PASSION below.
